2nd Go! Illustrators

The Innovative Entrepreneur Association (IEA), with the support and sponsorship of the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), successfully organized the Go! Illustrators – Hong Kong Picture Book Illustrators at International Book Fairs Promotion and Publishing Scheme (Support Scheme). The program aims to cultivate young Hong Kong picture book illustrators by providing support in creation, licensing, and marketing. It also allows them to participate in prestigious book fairs, including Bologna Children’s Book Fair and the Beijing International Book Fair, to help them explore overseas markets. The support scheme also offers a series of trainings to provide industry information to local picture book illustrators and students from related stream, encouraging them to enter important picture book/illustration competitions in China and abroad, helping them improve their creative skills and broaden their international perspectives.

Building on the achievements of the eight selected illustrators from the first edition of the program, the IEA will host the second edition of ” Go! Illustrators”. This edition will continue to provide comprehensive and systematic support and training for local picture book illustrators, assisting them in enhancing their creative skills, expanding their international horizons, and opening up more collaboration and business opportunities.
